We are so happy you are looking to us to be your Sewing Fairy Godmother. This is currently the only way to request any appointment. With all requests in one place, we can better guarantee getting back to our large volume of clients. By filling out the form correctly and completely we will have all the information needed to create your custom fitting schedule to ensure your fairytale fit!

Bridal Alterations generally require 6-8 weeks to complete, other formal wear is between 1-4 weeks. Timelines vary based on the alterations needed. We seek to complete all alterations including a final try on in the two weeks before the wedding, event, or date you plan to leave for the event. Rush options depend on seamstress availability and does require an additional 30% rush fee on top of alterations costs to cover overtime. Rush options are based on seamstress availability and season.

Please allow up to 4 business days for a response. We receive multiple requests each day and can only respond between fittings so our response time can vary based on both the number of requests and how many appointments occur that week.

Appointments are first come, first serve and are limited and based on seamstress availability. Please note that although our books are not open a year in advance, if your wedding is still 7+ months away, we recommend reaching out via email for one of our seamstresses to go over the details of alterations with you and recommend when would be the ideal time to request an appointment.

If you would like to schedule a consultaition to get a quote or go over custom altertions, you will need to fill out this form, adding to alterations needed "CONSULTATION REQUEST." Consultations are included in your fitting fee to be paid when you book. This includes a half an hour one on one appointment with a seamstress and a full estimate for all expected alterations.

We offer appointments Tues-Fri, 11:00-6pm. With some Monday appointments available, dependent on seamstress availability. On occasion we can offer other arrangements upon request and at the discretion of the Head Seamstress. Please list your preferred day and time

I understand that once a day an time have been agreed upon, a $50 non-refundable fitting fee is due. This fee is to be paid within 24hrs of agreeing on a day and time. Without this payment your appointment will not be secured and the day and time will open up after 24hrs have passed. I also understand this fee is non refundable in case of cancelation and is separate from alterations costs

I have sent photos of my dress (or dress inspiration for custom gown inquiries) to hello@fairygodmothertailoring.com. I understand that my request will not be processed if I fail to do this. If you have issues sending photos please let us know via email and we can arrange an alternate option to send them in.
